Networking Ride

This is a loosely formed group of business people who happen to be avid cycling enthusiasts. Collectively, we would rather ride than golf. We ride together once a month, always on the second Wednesday of the month at 2:00pm. We will leave from Attitude Sports Bike Shop right on Pewaukee Lake and headed into lake country for a 30-35 mile ride. We then regroup at Seester’s right next door for a drink or 2 and a little socializing. We are almost always wrapped up by 5:00. Even though there are now over 260 people on the ride email list, I don’t expect that the rides will ever get more than a 10-15% turnout.

If we have enough people, we will have 2 separate groups:
- 18mph and below
- 18mph and above
If not, it’s usually the faster group
Whichever group suites your desired speed is the one for you. Just take off with whichever one you want each time. The only drawback to the rides this year is that we had 1 group with riders of all abilities. This is NOT a training ride, but the pace often forced some people to go slower than normal and others to go uncomfortably fast. This split will allow everyone to ride at a comfortable pace, and we’ll all meet up afterward for a drink anyway.
